March Madness Begins
64 reps
New people do 32 reps (or 16 reps)
1 person does 65 reps (representing the play-in team)
Rows on the rings
Push-ups
Bicycles
Cobras
Jump squats
Jump lunges
Kettlebell Deadlifts
Kettlebell Swings
Wall ball
KB see saw press
Advanced do all 64 reps before moving on
all others can divide as needed.
12 Minutes in Hell
Saturday, February 28th, 2009This workout was tough and everyone did great. People modified by resting and cutting back on the time and reps.
The workout was 3 rounds of
1 minute of Kettlebell swings
1 minute of burpees
1 minute of sit ups
rest
3 rounds of
1 minute of suicides
1 minute of mountain climbers
1 minute of jumping jacks
rest
3 rounds of
Jack Roberts which is push ups immediately followed by shoulder presses. We did 1 minutes sets of 3/3.

Mike’s 3 Hill Thrill (or 2 hills depending on the day)
Saturday, February 28th, 2009It could be those sleepless nights, or it could be too much coffee, it may have even been revenge for having to wear North Carolina gear, but Mike’s hill or rather, hell workout proved to be quite a hellish workout. It left everyone wondering if we were starting hell week rather than week 2.
The workout took place between our parking lot and the parking lot over at Garnet and Gold which is down the street and has a nice steep hill leading up to their parking lot. The campers started with lunges up the hill to an area in which a whiteboard full of exercises was. They had to do 1 set of exercises and then run back to our parking lot and do the first set of exercises on the white board over there and then run back to Garnet and Gold, lunge up the hill, perform the 2nd set of exercises, run back to our lot, perform the 2nd set of exercises there and continue on until all exercises were completed, time ran out, or they dropped dead (no one dropped dead) most ran out of time…..except of course Ricky.
